Unit comes with an 18.5" vertical tube with slot that shelf fits into. Vertical tube does not attach to wall and positions anywhere along the lower horizontal bar it also has 2 rubber bumpers that rest against the wall to protect it.The tube locks into lower horizontal bar of any Superior TV double-stud mount. Any mount model with the number 2 as the first number is a double stud mount.
